Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and enjoys the video! Octopus suckers are key for Octopuses to survive, it helps them taste, feel, smell, and touch whatever is around them. In this video, I will talk to you about the Octopus suckers and show you the anatomy of the suckers. Even though the suckers look extremely simple, inside is where it gets pretty complex for the sucker(s) to operate. Vocabulary Infundibulum: Soft, squishy, and flexible part of the Octopus suction cup. Acetabulum: The roundish cavity that is inside of the Infundibulum. Epithelium: The mucus-like cover that surrounds the outside of the suction cups.
