Chagi | Pizza Dip
Ingredients • 1 lb. Italian sausage, casing removed • 1/2 cup Yellow onion, chopped • 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided • 1 (23 oz.) jar Marinara sauce, divided • 1 cup Pepperoni, quartered, divided Directions Preheat oven to 400ºF. In a medium pan over medium-high heat, cook sausage until browned. Add onions to the pan and cook until translucent. Once cooked, set aside for later. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, parmesan cheese, and 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Mix to thoroughly combine. Once combined, layer about half the cheese mixture into a lightly greased 8” x 8” baking dish. Smooth out the mixture as much as possible. Next, place a layer of about half a 23 oz. jar of marinara sauce over the cheese mixture. Evenly smooth out the sauce. Evenly layer about half the sausage mixture over the marinara sauce. Then, evenly layer pepperoni over the sausage mixture. Repeat each layer once more and then top the layers with a layer of the remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
