This chainsaw lanyard setup is very unique. It allows two different ways of clipping the chainsaw to your harness/saddle, from above or below. Many times climbing I have found that with this setup you can clip it without looking and know it is in a secure spot. Used with a non locking carabiner, rope snap and the Petzl large Caritool.
