Challenge Based Learning in a High School Classroom

This is an example of Challenge Based Learning in a high school. The students take on the challenge of reducing the number of vehicles in the school parking lot each day as they attempt to answer the essential question, "How can we meet our transportation needs without doing further harm to the environment?"
