Today we'll be going over a few methods on how to change colors of specific objects in Davinci Resolve 16. I also go over some of the problem solving techniques. Download Davinci Resolve 16 for Free: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/ Additional notes: All of the the methods shown today are valid and they all have their own use cases. I would recommend using the Hue vs Hue method if you are working with 8 bit footage as qualifiers can be tricky with 8 bit, but if it's not a super kinetic shot you should be able to get away with using a key/mask just something to look out for. If you want to perform the trick at the beginning I did use the second method shown but I added a keyframe on the corrector of the node I was working on. If you would like more information on keyframing nodes check out pages 242-246 of the DaVinci Resolve 16 Color Correction Training Manual Linked here: https://documents.blackmagicdesign.com/UserManuals/DaVinci-Resolve-16-color-correction.pdf?_v=1584057357000 I also recommend playing around with the methods shown, sometimes you can actually achieve the color shift you're looking for through adjusting color with a specific tonal range on the color wheels, for example bringing some blue into the gain to help bring some life back to a blown out sky. These tutorials are meant to be a starting point and you can experiment from there and find what works on the shot you're working on.
