CHANGES Yes drum cover

NEW MONTH, NEW DRUM COVER!! 🥁😎🥁😎🥁😎🥁 This month, I'm covering the song CHANGES by Yes from the 90125 album, released in November 1983. Their previous album had been DRAMA released in 1980. After a three-year break, the band returned to the studio with some changes of their own both in personnel and musical approach. Most notably, Trevor Rabin replaced Steve Howe on guitar. His driving riffs and arpeggiated chords brought a much needed shift toward the electric sound that better suited the decade. Although Rabin has a real knack for poppy melodies and catchy lyrics, that doesn't mean an automatic abandonment of progressive rock principles. This month's cover is a perfect example: The opening riff of CHANGES plays with alternating 7/8 & 3/4 time signatures before settling into the main 4/4 pattern.
