Regular maintenance is essential for keeping Taping Tools in top condition and increasing working life. Check out the instructions and new video for changing a Flat Box Blade: 1. Use the blade retainer screws to adjust the existing blade the whole way down then pop the blade out of the retainer. 2. Bend the new blade into a slight "W" shape, this keeps the blade secure. 3. Fit the new blade into the F039 blade holder, starting at one end. 4. Adjust blade to correct height -- 0.5mm to 1.0mm above skids. Tip: When fitting the blade to the blade holder, start at one end and press the blade into the groove. You may need a pair of pliers to press in the last bend. This ensures that the blade is secure and that it will follow the position of the blade holder, which you control with the adjusting ratchet. This gives you the profile you need for the best finish. Flat Box Blades are available for single purchase, in a pack of 3 and in the Flat Box Maintenance Kits - please specify a size when ordering.
