Color is an absolutely critical aspect of data visualizations. Chosen well, they emphasize the story you are trying to tell. Chosen poorly, they confuse this story, or render the visualization unintelligible to others.
In this video, I show how to change the color of pie slices in Plotly. This technique is applicable to other data representations, such as bars in a bar chart, or markers in a scatter plot.
