Finally re-opened after 4 years! I love the Lower and Upper Winter Creek loop and I used to ride it a 3 or 4 times a month. The newly opened trail is very soft in many sections - loose dirt and very soft edges. I got bumped around on one section, then I over-corrected and my front tire got too close to the edge. My front tire washed out, sending me and my bike sliding down the hillside 30 to 40 feet. I am lucky - just a few scrapes and bruises. Until this trail gets packed in again, bikers need to be very careful!
