Chapter 1 - Corpse Party [Remix]

¡Hola! Today, I wanna go back to one of the channel's roots: Corpse Party! With the announcement of a new game in the franchise, now's the perfect time to go back to this beloved series of mine. This game absolutely defined my childhood just as much as Pokémon, and it's been almost 5 years since my last remix of it! I've remixed this theme twice already. However, I felt like I could revisit the soundtrack and create "definitive" versions of my remixes. This version is sort of a mix of my two previous remixes, plus some original stuff, of course all polished and satisfying to listen to. I think I knocked it out of the park and I'm very excited to work on more Corpse Party themes! I decided to remix the first part of the track more faithfully, which was really challenging. There's almost no MIDIs of this track online, and the ones that exist aren't quite what I was looking for. Therefore, this remix was created without using any MIDI, which I am really proud of. The track is very, very complex, with multiple layers of bass, drums, harmonies, and melodies. I think I was able to get most of them right. My favourite part of the original track is the one that starts at 0:43. To me, it's musical perfection! I just adore the chord progression, melody, counter-melody, all of it. I like my version even more, the bass is soooo satisfying.
