If we have a fish out at 50 feet and we need to strip line off the reel and extend line to that fish how do we do that? Not only that, but how do we do it as quickly as possible? One absolute rule of fishing: you can’t catch a fish unless your fly is in the water. The longer it takes to extend the line the less time your fly is in the water. This series of exercises help the angler to learn to extend line quickly- thus catch more fish!
