Try it out and let us know how you like it. 😋 #PorkRamen #Ramen #RamenRecipes #Recipes #Delicious #Japan #Asian #Latin #Food #CharSiu #Charsiupork #Pork PORK CHASHU 2lbs Pork Belly ½ Cup Soy Sauce ½ Cup Mirin ¼ cup of Sake 4 cloves of garlic 2 tbsp of fresh ginger Water 1. Season Pork belly with salt and pepper, lightly. Roll the pork up and tie with kitchen twine. 2. Place in a frying pan and brown the pork belly. 3. Add soy sauce, mirin, sake, garlic and ginger. Add enough water until it comes halfway. 4. Bring it to a boil. 5. Flip pork belly then cover and place in a 350-degree oven for 45 minutes. 6. After 45 minutes, flip it again and cook for another 45 minutes. 7. Once cooked to your preference, remove from pan and place in a bowl. Pour the liquid from the pan on it. 8. Let it cool off and place in the refrigerator until the next day. 9. The next day, remove the fat from the top of the liquid. Save the liquid for ramen or any other preparations. 10. Remove string from pork belly and slice thin. 11. When ready to serve, heat it up in a frying pan. 12. Serve with Ramen, rice or noodles. Shoyu Broth: 4 lbs. of pork bones Neutral oil 2 onions 6 cloves of garlic Sliced ginger to your liking 1 bunch of green onions Water 1. Rinse the bones, place them in a large pot and bring to a boil for about 3 minutes. 2. Discard the water and rinse the bones again. Dry the bones. 3. Rub some oil on the bones in a cookie sheet pan and place in a 375-degree oven for 20 minutes. 4. After 20 minutes, grab the two onions cut in half along with the garlic. Place them in the oven with the bones until they have a nice brown color. 5. Remove from the oven. 6. Place the bones, onion, garlic, ginger and green onions in a large pot. Cover with water, 2 inches above the bones. 7. Bring to a boil and simmer for two hours. 8. Strain and reserve broth. Shoyu seasoning: 3 tbsp of soy sauce 2 tbsp of mirin 1 tbsp of water 1. Mix together and one tbsp to every ramen bowl when serving. Pork Ramen: Noodles 6 minute egg (Boiled egg) Pork Chashu Fish cake (if available) Thinly sliced green onions Bean sprouts (optional) 1. Cook the ramen noodles to your liking. 2. 6-minute egg: a. Bring water to a boil. b. Once boiling, add the eggs and cook for 6 minutes. c. Remove and cool in ice water immediately. d. Peel 3. Heat up pork chashu in frying pan. To serve: 1- In a bowl, place 1 tbsp of shoyu seasoning in bowl then place hot broth in. 2- Add noodles to broth. 3- Place egg, sliced fish cake, green onions and bean sprouts to the top of the broth. 4- Itadakimas!
