Chasm documents an ancient signal field detected within a deep planetary fracture located in the outer regions of the monitored system. The formation itself appears to be geological in origin — a massive chasm created by tectonic rupture thousands of years ago. Orbital surveys suggest the structure extends far below the surrounding terrain, forming a network of shadowed cavities and steep internal walls. Within these depths, analysts have identified traces of artificial structures embedded directly into the rock. The formations do not resemble surface monuments. Instead, they appear carved into the interior of the chasm itself — terraces, chambers, and angular corridors cut into the cliff faces as if an ancient civilisation chose to build within the fracture rather than above it. The purpose of these structures remains unknown. Some researchers believe the builders may have used the natural resonance of the chasm walls as part of a ceremonial or communicative function. Slow harmonic reflections still circulate through the cavern system, repeating at irregular intervals as if the architecture itself continues to amplify distant signals. No active technology has been confirmed. Only the persistence of the echoes. ⸻ Designed for • deep focus • atmospheric environments • immersive exploration • late-night listening • ambient soundscapes ⸻ This recording is part of the archive Ancient Frontiers Archaeological origin uncertain.
