CHEAP Air Pruning Pots

I wanted to share how I'm making Cheap Air Pruning Pots this year. I decided I didn't want to spend any money and I had a source to get some of these plastic landscape pots from my buddy Darryl Griffin (http://goo.gl/T3wD3h). I happened to have that hole saw and a drill so I decided to make up some air pruning pots. That landscape fabric has been laying in that garden for two years and it was still good enough to use like this. I didn't spend anything on these plant pots. The only money spent was in the potting mix but I already had the coco coir, cow manure, fish emulsion, vermiculite, and organic potting mix. Overall, I'm very happy with how the DIY Air Pruning Pots turned out. I think they will function properly and hold up for many plantings. I hope this inspires you to make some for your garden!
