I’ve been gathering this stuff whenever I come across it, while walking the Susquehanna river. It’s a tough course crumbly chert. I’ve shown this on a couple other videos.
Hopefully, when I start breaking into this stuff, I can get some tools out of it. The only other Flint I come across is in small pebble form when it erodes out of the bank. It is high-quality but very small. I suspect all this is glacial transported. Have fun!
