Desk light to Wall light
Seem like every house has a room that does not have an overhead light. In my house, I have two such rooms. It seems that I always pick that room to work from that does not have an overhead light.
With the way my desk is set up, I do not have enough space for a desk lamp.
It was using keen ingenuity and pure genius on my part. I went and created a custom-mounted wall to brighten my workspace. This was done by taking a plain old desk lamp and repurposed it, creating a derivative room accent.
The reality is that I created a kick-ass wall-mounted lamp.
So, I took a desk lamp and turned it into a wall-mounted light.
The lap I used was a desk lap that already had holes on the back for mounting to walls. I needed to create an excellent mount to attach the light to, providing better suitability and looking good.
Creating your wall light, dressing up your space to be a more aesthetically appealing and better representative of you.
I used a 1” x 12” pine board for shelves and a desk lamp. Throw in a few screws, and you have all you need to get started.
