If you’re like me who loves Choco butternut munchkins from Dunkin Donuts, then you’ve got to try this recipe. This reminds me of the classic childhood favorite back in the Philippines. After all the trial and error, orange colored hands, now I can say, I finally nailed it! I am very proud of my streusel recipe because it tastes like the one you get from Dunkin donuts. Who wouldn’t fall in love with these moist and chewy chocolate crinkles coated in choco butternut streusel? Simply irresistible! INGREDIENTS: CHOCOLATE CRINKLES 2 cups white sugar 1 cup cocoa powder 1/2 cup vegetable oil 4 eggs 2 tsps. vanilla extract 2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsps. baking powder CHOCO BUTTERNUT STREUSEL 2/3 cup all purpose flour 2/3 cup powdered/ confectionary sugar 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 8-10 drops orange food coloring * quantity will depend on the kind of food coloring you use 1/2 cup desiccated coconut, ground Yield: 24-30 pcs.
