Chopping up vocoder samples in Renoise
In this video, I walk through my process of chopping and looping vocoder samples using Renoise. I demonstrate how to take small sections of a vocoder sound, set forward loops, and fine-tune the loop points to create interesting rhythmic and tonal textures. I also share how these sounds are integrated into a project, testing them against a melody and using probability settings to add variation. Finally, you can hear how the processed samples sound when combined with drums. Timestamps: [00:00] Chopping up the initial vocoder sample into small sections. [04:53] Applying probability to different sounds for added variation. [05:14] The final result: hearing the samples with the full drum track. #Renoise #MusicProduction #Vocoder #SoundDesign #Tracker #SampleChopping #BeatMaking #ElectronicMusic #DAW #Line47
