The Positive Pathway Programme (Outcome 22) offers one‑to‑one, trauma‑informed support for young people aged 10–17 who have been involved in behaviours linked to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). Delivered by GIPSIL’s Community Health & Prevention (CHP) team, the programme provides an educational, strengths‑based alternative to entering the formal criminal justice system. Young people referred through an Outcome 22 receive personalised sessions that: • Explore the roots of harmful behaviour • Build empathy, emotional regulation, and safer decision-making • Challenge misogyny and gender stereotypes • Strengthen positive identity and relationships Our practitioners work closely with West Yorkshire Police, the Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP), and local safeguarding partners to ensure safe, appropriate referrals and a child‑centred approach throughout.
