We have designed and built this post driver after a lot of prototyping to suit the harsh environment and handle anything a fencing contractor can throw at it by using our experience both in manufacturing using only the highest quality materials and ability to field test our own products being from rural background. While the concept is not new, it was always in us to build a high quality petrol post driver after building Hydraulic units for Atlas-Copco for many years (branded as Altas-Copco) which uses a modified LH-11 energiser, but always required a separate power source as do the popular pneumatic post drivers on the market. Our post drivers have been on the market for over two years and are used from contractors in North Western Australia through to Deer fencing in Alaska and game fences in Africa as well as timber stakes for trellising with extremely good service life - Christie Engineering give full 12 month commercial warranty on the driver and Handa give 36 month on the GX35 motor. All parts of the units are totally made in Australia. The "Christie Post Driver" is available in both the 52mm for standard star and T Posts and also a 73mm model for Waratah MaxY posts which comes standard with a reducing bush to suit standard posts also.
