TUESDAY TUTORIAL: CHRISTMAS CAKE #DoughertyDozen #Tutorial #Recipe Here’s one of our Family Traditions for the Holidays! Join us as we make a fun, simple Holiday Dessert to celebrate the Holiday Season! You’ll Need: -3 Boxes of White Cake Mix (any brand) -Green and Red Food Coloring -Green and Red M&M’s -4 to 7 containers of White Frosting (depending on if you want a layer of frosting in between each cake or not) -Bamboo Skewers Directions: 1. Mix up your cake mix according to the box 2. Pour into 6 greased circular cake pans 3. Add green food coloring to 3 of the cakes and stir to combine 4. Add red food coloring to 3 of the cakes and stir to combine 5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 23 minutes 6. Let cool completely 7. Stack in an alternating pattern (Optional: Add a layer of frosting in between each cake) 8. Add bamboo skewers for stability (breaking/cutting to size) 9. Frost the exterior 10. Start at the bottom with red or green M&M’s and do a layer all the way around 11. Alternate to the other color M&M in a row above the first row 12. Continuing alternating until you’ve covered the entire cake 13. Cut, Serve and Enjoy! Bon Appetit! Thank you for spending time with us.
