Chrysler Pacifica third row headrest removal
Disassembly and removal of the Chrysler Pacifica 3rd row headrests. This process is NON-DESTRUCTIVE and REVERSIBLE These are the stow 'n go type seats with the headrests that are not meant to be removed. This process is DIFFERENT THAN REMOVING THE 2nd ROW headrests where you only need to remove the back panel and unclip the cable. Removing these headrests is beneficial for some that want to fit a high rise car seat/booster. I also look at the strap mechanism used to collapse the headrest, as mine broke off. This video may help you decide if you want to repair or remove anything in these types of headrests. Overall not a big fan of the design. But once you know what to do, shouldn't take more than 45 minutes total. The part number for replacing the entire folding mechanism: https://parts.moparonlineparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-headrest-folding-mechanism-left-68292413ah It's $200. No way to just get the small molded plastic piece that holds the strap on.
