In memoriam and honor of my brother in life and music, Michael kelly, who left us one year ago today. What a great friend and musician he was! I wrote this tune as a feature for his bass skills. Michael was blind yet could play bass with such force, grace, technique and tone. The middle breakdown section is the two-handed tapping part I'd written for him after hearing him play just about every Stu Hamm piece he had a recording of. I hope you all get to have a friend as excellent as Michael Kelly.
