Cisco Phone Remote Control Browser Add-on

In this video I take a look at how to install, enable and use an open source firefox add-on plugin that allows remote control of Cisco IP phones. This allows you as an administrator to review phone settings remotely or to assist a user remotely with tasks that require the ability to physically see the screen of the phone. I leverage an 8845 for this demo but anything 8800 series or 7800 should work including the 8865, 8861, 8851, 8841, 8811, 7841, 7821, etc. This Add On works into existing work flows as you cross launch from Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) to manage a phone.
