A one hour police drama starring Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox, CHiPs (1977) ran for an impressive six seasons It was a little like 'Adam-12' on motorcycles; the show's creator (Rick Rosner) was a former deputy sheriff. Estrada didn't get along that well with his co-star and Wilcox left after season five. He was replaced by Tom Reilly in the sixth and final season. The now-familiar theme is by John Parker ('Trapper John M.D.'). The show has been remastered in HD and is available on streaming services.
