Claude AI Explained: Projects, Artifacts, Claude Code & MCP for Real Workflows

Claude is no longer just a chatbot. It has become a powerful AI ecosystem for productivity, software development, automation, and professional collaboration. In this video, I explain how Claude, developed by Anthropic, can be used as a serious work partner rather than just a tool for answering questions. We explore how Projects and Custom Instructions help create persistent knowledge bases, allowing Claude to understand your business context, tone, goals, and recurring workflows. Anthropic describes Projects as a way to organize work and collaborate with Claude around specific contexts, while Artifacts allow users to create and revise content such as code, documents, diagrams, and website designs in a dedicated side window. The video also looks at Artifacts, one of Claude’s most useful features for building and iterating. Instead of losing code, dashboards, documents, or designs inside a chat thread, Artifacts open beside the conversation so you can develop them step by step. Anthropic’s support documentation also notes that Artifacts can connect to external services through MCP on supported plans, making them more than static outputs. We then move into more advanced tools such as Claude Code, an agentic coding assistant that works in the terminal and can understand a codebase, help with routine programming tasks, and connect to external tools through MCP. Anthropic’s documentation explains that Claude Code can use MCP to connect with tools and data sources such as issue trackers, dashboards, databases, and APIs. Finally, the video introduces the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, which Anthropic describes as an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external systems where data lives. MCP allows AI tools to connect with services such as Google Drive, GitHub, Slack, local files, databases, and custom workflows. The key message is simple: the future of AI work is not just better prompting. It is learning how to build systems where AI can understand context, use tools, collaborate with humans, and support meaningful work.
