Cloud Native Data Sharing with Valet Key

In this video I talk about the valet key architecture pattern, so called because it's similar to the parking valet ticket system. This pattern can be used to offload work from your apps and allow secure downloading of data sets by third parties while reducing operational and infrastructure costs. This pattern uses #sastokens which are often misunderstood and wrongly seen as insecure. Used in the right place, this pattern will keep your costs low, your platform scalable, and your users happy and all while being more secure than having all of the traffic flowing through a corporate network.
