CMP 1911 - Adding Some Life Back! Finale

This is the final update on my CMP 1911 oil experiment. I read a forum post of how a user soaked his firearm in oil for a long period of time and restored some of the original color to the surface. This video is a follow up after the weapon was stored for 8 months in oil. I learned not long after that these weapons were parkerized with different materials and mine specifically may not get the desired darkening effect because of this.
