CMP Automation designs and builds Automated Projection Weld Machines per customer specifications. This machine include a 4 station weld base machine with fully interchangeable weld fixtures (geometric fixture tooling). A total of 13 different fixtures were required weld 13 brackets for 5 different tube assemblies. The operator loads the tube and bracket into the fixture and cycles the weld machine. The part shown had 4 brackets on the tube assembly. For this assembly the welding happens in a progression through 4 fixtures, left to right.
