CMP Automation build machines to process tube ends to customer specifications. This project required tube ends to be notched with an angular surface and step. The cutting tooling and die set were integrated into a customized hydraulic press. The operator inserts the tubes manually via guided entry points and reference positional tooling to control the tube length on the second notch.
