I'm working on some projects that could use some custom wood cleats. Rather than buying them I figured it would be fun to design some and play with the process. A super cool and fun project! All kinds of customization is possible and even using cheap pine can give good results.
I used Design Spark Mechanical to design the cleats and then Vectric Cut2D Pro to layout the toolpaths.
This isn't all that complicated and the results are awesome.
