This is a PART 2 : In Mainframe, when we have to Optimize any batch, then its not possible to optimize each cobol program as a batch can have 100 or thousands of program.
Using Pareto Rule we can find out which all programs are getting used in most of the programs. And if we optimize those repeatedly used programs, then as a smart work we will be able to OPTIMIZE BATCH IN LESS EFFORT.
