COD Black Ops - A Button Layout Decision - Default or Tactical?

The Decision. Should I switch back to default so that I can panic knife or should I stay with tactical so I can drop shot? I rarely ever stabbed someone anyway when I using default! The drop shot has been saving my life lately! Sure, there's times when I could have gotten a panic knife, but I feel like I already lost if I let someone get that close to me!
