Code 3 Stingray Multi-Function Lights, How do They Work?

Stingrays were multi-function lights by Code 3 available in the 1990s. They were based on the LP6000 rotator and were able to rotate 360, oscillate to the rear, or oscillate to the front. The lights used standard 12vdc brushed motors with worm gears and a small "brain box". This video explores how they may have achieved their functions with only a standard motor and a set of position "reporting" contacts.
