With Lise's device on our person, we've but one shot to make this count!
Making haste to Josee's Outpost, we return to the moment her frenzy is triggered to try and fend off The Resurgence instigated by Gobbo.
Getting there in time, we equip her with the device; thus, giving her an added avenue of strength from the devotion and care of Lise. It all but expends her energy to stop The Resurgence, but Gobbo finds himself too ripe an opportunity....
He's acquired Lise's device, for it fell off of Josee from the defense. Josee's in our arms, so we obviously cannot make a move, Oskar!
"A change is on the way"......the constant turmoil between humans and revenants doesn't seem to let up, eh? Because those words bode ill for whatever is to come.
Rightly so, because when we get back to Lou to figure out what to do, we learn The Present is now being distorted somehow, and our link is breaking badly.
What....have we done....? Mayhaps we ARE in over our heads on this......
Nay, cannot give up now. This distortion has to be in part of Gobbo acquiring Lise's device. So if it messes up everything thus far, we gotta hunt him down and get it back!
