In our ever-changing technological world, the Coding and Robotics curriculum is vital in exposing our learners to new technologies within the education environment. Starting with the Foundation Phase, it will build a solid foundation of knowledge for further discovery later in the Intermediate and Senior Phases.
This webinar will outline and explain the 5 different content strands and teaching methodologies aligned with the draft curriculum. We will use examples from our Smart-Kids Coding & Robotics Grades R, 1, 2 and 3 Workbooks to illustrate activities that introduce young learners to the subject and develop a foundation of knowledge for the subject. Coding & Robotics is going to be added to the syllabus, a first for South African Educational history.
