I draw a line between
sentiment / sincerity
The ellipses of the life I lead
State lines were a balance beam
She was born with open eyes
I look in them for what I’m trying to find

Hard to say what a feeling is
Or articulate what I find in it
I just know that it’s infinite
When I can’t wrap my head around it
Still I’d try it on my own
Afternoons when I’d hide at home
You know you need it when you see it though
The only answer when I’m feeling low
Is over the borderline, in time
Could you cross over mine, would you try
I wanna know you live without
And see that it’s something you’re doing nothing about
