Collins Type 1 Writing Instructions

This video discusses the use of the Collins Type 1 Writing Strategy. This strategy is best used for generating ideas, and it can be easily graded using a check mark or a minus. Once the writer meets the goals, change it to a check mark. Type 1 writes are great for brainstorming, fostering discussion, introducing new ideas, formulating options, or just getting someone thinking.
