This video is a tutorial covering how to design a spinning weapon and the theory making behind powerful combat robot weapons. I'll explain the importance of MOI, RPM, KE, and other important facets of design. I discuss all of these in the frame of reference of my own 3lb combat robot, Division, so I can contextualize the information in a useful manner. I also use examples from the Battlebots seen on TV and discuss pros and cons of various spinner designs.
