Combining vertex buffers is easy, but how can you combine different vertex buffers that use different textures? Here's how! This optimization is a lot more work than most of the other ones I've covered, and it's not something that will be applicable to every game. Only do this if you've already made use of the other optimizations, and make sure to test your game to make sure it actually speeds things up.
