While many training systems exist, none come close to the Westside Barbell Conjugate System in terms of absolute strength and power development when articulated properly. This system requires one to lean on (and in many ways live on) auxiliary lifts. These 'auxiliary lifts' are nothing more than isolation exercises geared toward strengthening the athlete's weakest link. The underlying issue is when applying the WSBB system, few venture outside the idea of the basics (i.e., JM Press, tricep skullcrusher, GHD (glute ham raise), lat pulldown, dumbbell lateral raise, etc.) with little to no concern for strength curve considerations. On top of this, many coaches/trainers rotate auxiliaries out far too soon, leaving unclaimed strength/hypertrophy gains on the table. *In the upcoming video we'll dive into constructing the classical WSBB system split for individualized progression based on my decade training and working at Westside for and with the Godfather of Strength, Louie Simmons. 🔔Subscribe to catch coaching & programming tips: https://www.youtube.com/c/specialstrengths?sub_confirmation=1 Follow on Instagram for unique coaching approaches: https://www.instagram.com/specialstrengths/
