"Come Together" is a song by the British rock band The Beatles, written by John Lennon and credited to the songwriting partnership of Lennon–McCartney. It serves as the opening track on the band's 1969 album Abbey Road. The song started as a campaign song for Timothy Leary, and was intended as a up-beat blues number but Paul McCartney suggested they slow it down. We have changed the feel again to a funky/jazzy thing.
