This song ties back to the album opener "Chinks in the Floorboards (Henny Penny)." This is what the amateur astronomer observed with his state-of-the-art telescope. He saw an asteroid that was on a collision course with Earth and large enough to end all life. The title of this piece is an allusion to the film Don't Look Up.
