This video is the repair of a CBM 8050 dual 5.25" floppy disk drive that was used with the Commodore PET. The 8050 is a single sided quad density drive (the 8250 was the double sided equivalent)
This drive showed the five 5 flashes on the power up self test, indicating a fault with the MOS 6502 CPU or MOS 6530 RRIOT IC.
I also show the basics on how to test a 6502 8-bit processor in circuit.
