The challenges of adopting a Greyhound
In this video we cover some of the challenges we faced when we adopted our retired racing Greyhounds Magnus and Scout. We cover separation anxiety, sleep startle, resource guarding, prey drive, stairs, fireworks and more. The purpose of this video is not to scare anyone into not adopting a dog, but rather to prepare them for some of the challenges they may face so they can be better prepared for when they adopt.
