Let's compare different drafting techniques to draw the Jeans pattern foundation. Drafting books normally come with the basic trouser block and not this one. Today we will be comparing 2 different drafting techniques based on some books I love.
The Jeans foundation is supposed to fit tightly around your body and follow its shape. It normally has between 2.5cm(1inch) ease around the thighs.
This pattern block tends to have a shorter crotch length than expected and some modifications are needed. This was the case for one of the drafting methods so I tried fixing it by adding the needed length on the back hip line only.
