Comparison Between Minc Foiling Machine & Laminator

This video almost didn't happen this week! I had soooo many technical difficulties of all different types during the week, that I honestly didn't even get to shoot this until yesterday afternoon. Then came the editing, so please excuse the finished video if it seems a bit rough. Anyway, I was recently watching a Simon Hurley video about foiling with embossing powder (his video here: https://youtu.be/uWQvComZryQ ), and I was interested in the machine he was using to apply heat and pressure. It wasn't a laminator, as I have used in the past (see my video here: https://youtu.be/qncudziJ-5o ). Instead it was a Minc Foil Applicator created by Heidi Swapp. I decided to get one and test it out, so now you don't have to! I will admit that my results were quite varied -- although I LOVE the Minc for foiling with the laser toner method -- and I think most folks could achieve quite acceptable success with a basic laminator. But the Minc is impressive nonetheless, and I'm looking forward to testing it out more in the future.
