Complications Associated With An Exploding Brain (Deforum Version)

This track is about dissociation. People experience it in different ways - for me it's like being wrapped in a blanket or going blind (but emotionally and cognitive functions). I can't feel my body and my brain gets confused about signals, it's much like a television without a signal - noise and static. These days, I've trained myself to recognize it coming, to relax more and accept it as a part of my brain function in certain situations (always stressful), and that helps with unlocking the emotions and thoughts which are the triggers. It's a sensation of being trapped inside my head and not knowing why I'm shutting down. My goal here is to create a very unsettling sensation using the music production techniques I've used to create a very spatial aural structure with a broad range of voice/instrument movement across the mix, combining that with a barrage of lurching, unsettling video that's only just barely synchronised. The upscaling/FPS increase process in Topaz produced some interesting anomalies - the embedded subtitles move around, and the motion from the original video segments (developed in Deforum Studio - check them out at https://deforum.studio/ ): and yes, I could work those to get a more polished video, but I've decided to go with this build, because it somehow makes the overall experience more claustrophobic. A quick comment on Deforum Studio - they've recently added an event-based feature which automatically detects events in an audio track, and then lets you fine-tune the results before using that as a structure for the video generation. It's my first time using it for a complete video, and I wanted to get this project done as quickly as possible, but as a creative tool, it's going to be a really important one for me. Looking forward to seeing how it develops, and hopefully combining audio reactive features with event-based controls.
