Expert speaker Dr Jawed Qureshi is an expert in steel-concrete composite design, with extensive research, teaching, and industry experience. He holds a PhD in Steel-Concrete Composite Structures from the University of Leeds and has worked at the University of Leeds and the University of Warwick before joining the University of East London in 2013. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Structural Engineering and Design. Dr Qureshi has published over 50 international conference and journal papers and has collaborated on various steel-concrete composite projects with industry partners in the UK. He actively promotes structural engineering through his YouTube channel and LinkedIn, aiming to educate and inspire students and professionals.
