Both of these work very well and easy if the end of the copper pipe is straight. The ends of my copper pipe looks like someone used a hacksaw instead of pipe cutter... this situation is where you can run into a big headache. The removal tool on the left doesn't allow you to see what is going on. I ended up continuing to wrench away ... to the point the end of my copper pipe got damaged.

With the blue one you can see the end of the copper pipe as you use the tool. That way you can stop wrenching when you see the tool is not working as it should and prevent further damage to your copper pipe. Even when things go smoothly, I like how it lets you see the progress you are making with pulling the ferrule, which I think is helpful.
